Diploma Thesis is carried out by individuals and solely by undergraduate students. It is an undergraduate level study of an scientific research subject, which is placed at the entry level of a specific research area of the Mathematics science. The study is contacted under the supervision of the Supervisor Professor, and is based on existing research. The student makes use of the the knowledge one acclaimed during ones studies, in order to carry out the research in a composing and scientific way.
The "Diploma Thesis" is a project which is carried out solely by undergraduate students. It has a synthetic
or scientific nature that encapsulates the student's experience and knowledge of a specific research area
of Mathematical science.
 
The "Diploma Thesis" is conducted by close collaboration between the student and a Supervising Member
of the Academic-Staff of Department.
 
The goal for the undergraduate student is to gain critical thinking skills, composing thinking, and the ability
to analyze a subject in a scientific and strictly mathematical way.
 
After successfully participating in the course, the student will be able to:
* Identify and handle basic notions, methods, and techniques related to the subject under investigation.
* Understand the importance of the subject of the thesis and the connections to related subject fields.
* Make use of bibliographic sources to reach scientific conclusions.
* Write scientific manuscripts.
* Present scientific results to the public.
